New-build Replacement Dwelling, Hyde

This project has been our largest to date, and the most exciting. PLAN Architect Studio typically deals with extensions and renovation projects, but can make space for the odd new build if project planning allows.

This design for a rural 3 bedroom house was the result of a long concept design process with a lot of regular collaboration with the keen first time self-builder clients

Planning consent was granted in December 2021 after a complicated application process. The spacious three bedroom dwelling will replace a much smaller bungalow on a site in Green belt land, adding layers of complexity to the planning process.

The technical and tender process is now underway and work should start on site later this year! Follow our Instagram feed for progress photos as we will be keeping a close eye on this project!
