Single Storey Extension to Barn Conversion, Knutsford

This barn Conversion in rural Cheshire was already beautiful, but the clients wanted a little more space in their kitchen diner. The extension had to be sensitive to the form and details of the existing barn, and required much discussion with the local planning authority, Cheshire East.

Just a small extension was required to bring in loads of natural light to the new dining area and bar area. This extra space allowed a complete kitchen overhaul with a huge island and contemporary features, contrasting with the features of the original barn.
